Many people have been complaining that the internal space of their phones is small. For some time we have been seeing that it says memory full when you have only put a few things, or sometimes we want to take a picture and we are told 'there is no enough space' when you check that you have not put anything. The truth is that there are many reasons that can lead to the memory of your phone being full apart from putting things on the phone.

Today I will point out two reasons and ways to increase them..

1. social networksThese are social networks such as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, but for today's case I will not talk about WhatsApp, although you can use it on any social network.

When you use or send things (songs, voice notes, videos, pictures) via WhatsApp, things create folders on your phone and save themselves there. This causes the same thing to save itself twice.
Example: if you send a picture to whatsapp, maybe that picture was in a folder called waitech, what happens is that the picture will be in that folder and in another folder of whatsap. So if the picture has 2 MB, it means it will be 2 MB in one folder and 2 MB in another folder.

_what you did_
  1. Go to file manager then whatsap then media then whatsap images then you will see a folder written sent delete all that.
  2. Go back then check whatsap audio then send delete that too
  3. Go back then whatsap video then send delete that too.
  4. WhatsApp voice note, inside you can find many folders, delete them all.
  5. Then go back to media until you see the word database, delete it all. (If you don't see it, there is no problem)
  6. It is important to delete the videos and audios and the pictures you have used if you think they are useless or you have not watched them. You can delete them through the gallery.
NOTE
You can use this method on all social networks because each one has its own file.

2.temporal files
These are files that you cannot easily see on the phone, but it is a fact that they take up a large percentage of your sim.

These also reduce the speed of your phone and make it slow.

These can be removed from the app.
Go to playstore download the app called clean master then follow the instructions.

If you don't use playstore, go to another source like market.

Also To increase space on your Android phone, you can try several methods:

1. Delete Unnecessary Apps: Go through your apps and uninstall those that you rarely use or no longer need. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps, then select the app you want to uninstall.

2. Clear App Cache: Cached data can take up a significant amount of space over time. Go to Settings > Storage > Cached data, and then tap on "Cached data" to clear it.

3. Clear App Data: Some apps store a lot of data locally. You can clear this data by going to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps, selecting the app, and tapping on "Storage" > "Clear storage" or "Clear data". Be aware that this will reset the app to its initial state.

4. Move Apps to SD Card (if available): If your Android device supports expandable storage via an SD card, you can move compatible apps to the SD card to free up internal storage. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps, select the app, and if it's movable, there should be an option to "Change" or "Move to SD card."

5. Remove Unnecessary Files: Use a file manager app to go through your files and delete any unnecessary photos, videos, downloads, or other files that you no longer need.

6. Use Cloud Storage: Upload your photos, videos, and documents to cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. This allows you to access them anytime while freeing up space on your device.

7. Stream Content Instead of Downloading: Instead of downloading movies, music, or podcasts, consider streaming them online to save storage space.

8. Disable Pre-installed Apps: Some pre-installed apps cannot be uninstalled, but you may be able to disable them. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps, select the app, and if it's possible to disable it, there should be an option to do so.

9. Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your device. This will erase all data and restore your phone to its original settings. Make sure to back up any important data before doing this.

By following these steps, you should be able to free up space on your Android phone and optimize its performance.
